S/V Way Mari

Project Description:

S/V Way Mari is a West Sail 42 that underwent a major refit and Lithium battery upgrade last spring. We built a battery bank consisting of two Lithionics GTX-275 batteries, totaling 550 amp hours. We also added a Victron Phoenix inverter, as well as two Skylla-Ip44 60 amp chargers. Lastly, we fabricated a custom alternator bracket and installed a Mark Grasser Custom 250 amp externally rectified alternator to recharge.
